Hosted by the Mississippi Food Justice Collaborative at NCAT:

The Mississippi Farm to Cafeteria Conference begins October 12, and the mini-workshop and reception for farmers are pre-conference events. The mini-workshop will tackle the topic of record-keeping and food safety. Whether you shudder when you hear the word “record-keeping” or you are an Excel spreadsheet wizard, come and learn about food safety planning and record-keeping strategies with other farmers and growers from around the state. The mini-workshop will be followed by a casual reception and dinner. A no-host cocktail bar will be available. Come and meet other farmers and food producers from around the state on the evening before the Farm to Cafeteria Conference. The workshop and reception are free, however space is limited and registration is required. For more information about the workshop and reception, contact Liz Broussard at lizb@ncat.org or 479-575-1390. Jackson, MS 39209
