About Go NAPSACC

MSF2SN team members are all too familiar with the struggles that come with planning and carrying out initiatives for improving young students' wellbeing. The frustration of simply not knowing where to begin can be enough to deter child care providers and educators from implementing a change. As you probably know, the time and effort required to carry out health initiatives is immense, which can leave people feeling intimidated and discouraged.

If you've ever felt this way, then let us do the honors of introducing you to your new best friend: Go NAPSACC.

Go NAPSACC works with child care providers to improve the health of young children through practices, policies, and environments that instill habits supporting lifelong health and well-being. The Go NAPSACC program is an easy-to-use online tool for early care and education programs interested in building healthy eating and physical activity habits in children. This flexible program helps child care providers prioritize, plan, and take action to make healthy changes. Go NAPSACC is designed with the child care provider in mind and is equipped with a multitude of resources focused around child health. This program supplies seven learning modules on various aspects impacting child health become available at any time. Arguably the most handy part of the program, their "5 Steps to Success" outline helps guide an individual through the entirety of the process by assessing current practices, planning out what/how to make improvements, and ultimately putting the plan into action. Technical assistant consultants are also available, and highly recommended, to assist you through out the period of planning and carrying out student health interventions.
